A320 Full Flight Simulator

Description

Now you can complete your basic MCC and obtain your APS MCC course with the new bridge APS MCC course approved by EASA. You will increase your multi pilot aircraft piloting skills while acquiring a preliminary experience in an airline jet such as A320. You will be able to meet the higher requirements sought by airlines who are looking to incorporate young aspiring pilots into their fleet.

Upon completion of this APS MCC Course:

  • Students obtain an APS MCC course competition certificate in accordance with AMC2 FCL.735.A.

Course Structure

How is the bridge APS MCC course structured?

  • The EASA published syllabus for the APS MCC consists of the 20 hours of standard MCC flight training, which is completed by 20 additional hours composed of 12 hours Advanced Swept Wing Jet airplane training, 6 hours Advanced airline operations scenario training and 2 hours Final Assessment.
  • The Bridge APS MCC consists of the complementary training to the 20 hours standard MCC already completed, with the addition of specific A320 systems theory training and additional 2 hours simulator training to ensure full readiness for the second half.

Highlights of our MCC to APS-MCC Upgrade Course:

  • 2 hours additional simulator training to fully adapt to the new environment.
  • Extensive A320 theory training before the simulator session
  • Computer Based Training and live distant training to prepare all knowledge required in time while reducing your logistics costs
  • Advanced FSTD that replicates exactly the Airbus A320
  • Flight Instructors with a background in the airline industry
  • Additional specific training in key areas needed for airline assessments: Aircraft Systems knowledge and FMS use, Airplane Flight Path Management, Normal and Abnormal SOPs, Situational Awareness, Leadership and Team work.

Theoretical & Flight Training

  • Computer Based Training including Aircraft Systems and Standard Operating Procedures, advanced Swept Wing Jet airplane training and airline operations scenario.
  • 6 hours of theory training via live distant training
  • 2 hours adaptation practice into A320 simulator.
  • 12 hours Advanced Swept Wing Jet airplane training.
  • 6 hours Advanced airline operations scenario training.
  • 2 hours Final Assessment.

Duration: 6 days presential classes and 6 days (recommended) for previous theoretical training.

What is the difference between a conventional MCC/JOC and the APS MCC?

  • The Jet Orientation Course JOC is not based in any EASA regulation and each training organization can offer it in different lengths and structures.
  • The APS MCC is a regulated EASA course sought by airlines and demanded prior to accessing any assessment or interview, with a clear structure including the complementary skills required by airlines, with detail described in the previous point.
  • In order to fulfill the above point the APS MCC includes real airline standard operating procedures (SOPs) and doubles the amount of simulator hours up to 40 (instead of 20h in standard MCC).
  • All training is performed in an advanced swept wing jet FSTD.
