Night Rating (NR)

Description

The Night Visual Flight Rules rating (NVFR) or, night rating, is an excellent addition to the skills of any PPL and is the next step toward the CPL. This qualification enables an EASA PPL holder to fly at night by themselves or with passengers safely with fewer visual references.

While the Night Rating (NR) is optional for private pilots (PPL) interested in Night Visual Flying, is a compulsory requirement for commercial pilots (CPL).
