Class Rating Instructor (CRI)

Description

The privileges of a Class Rating Instructor (CRI) are to instruct for the issue, revalidation or renewal of a class or type rating for single-pilot airplanes, except for single-pilot high performance complex airplanes.

  • 5 MEP Hours–Multi Engine Piston Aircraft Training under visual and instrumental rules

Enrollment

Minimum pre-entry requirements  to apply for a CRI certificate of completion:

  • 18+ years old
  • English language proficiency equivalent to ICAO Level 4
  • Valid EASA Class 1 Medical certificate
  • Holder of an EASA CPL(A), ME/IR Licence
  • EASA ATPL Theory exams passed
a) for MEP aircraft:
  •  500 hours flight time as a pilot
  •  30 hours as PIC
b) for SEP aircraft:
  • 300 hours flight time as a pilot
  • 30 hours as PIC
